“I want to be happy when I walk through Gnesta. Colour makes one happier. Grey means nothing.”
All 8th Grade pupils at the Freya School in Gnesta have, since last winter, worked with local public spaces in the project “Mitt Gnesta” (My Gnesta). This work has been based at Art Lab Gnesta with creativity and lobbying in focus. The process included walking tours, discussions about which parts of the town are not sufficiently attractive or safe, a question and answer session with the municipal Planning and Construction Manager and applied personal creativity. The pupils’ work is now presented. Trappgatan Gnesta has as of May 23 a new look and can be viewed as a proposal for how Gnesta’s public spaces should be developed.
Welcome to the opening ceremony on Thursday, May 23 at 1200!
