During the 18/8 it’s time for the first film festival in Katrineholm to take place in ETC EL’s solar panel park. Welcome to see amazing and imaginative films, drink soda, eat popcorn and sun-baked buns.The film festival is organized by Art Lab Gnesta and Sunshine Socialist Cinema in collaboration with The Peoples Movement for Art Promotion and ETC EL.

About Sunshine Socialist Cinema: 
Sunshine Socialist Cinema is an outdoor cinema powered by solarpanels, run by artists Kalle Brolin and Kristina Müntzing. They are re-distributing surplus light from day to night by solarpanel and projector, and screen films that generate discussion on radical political topics. Their themes include post-industrial survival, political filmmaking, artists joining political collectives, and more. Their activities include public screenings, studygroup discussions, field trips, and presentations hosted by other institutions.
