Järnnattsfestival

Sunday, May 26 from 12-16

“Järnätterna” are an old expression of those nights when it was traditionally considered that the risk of frost was particularly high, which affected the planting of plants. According to older folk belief, the first days of June have been the aimpoint in central Sweden (although the statistics do not indicate any exact dates for recurring frosts).

We invite you to a family festival with a plant swap, a Persian lunch with Akbar and Daniel from  Vår lokal and a gig with James Hollingworth from James & Karin  (Djurens brevlåda, Älgarna demonstrerar). In addition, we inaugurate Gnestazakrahfan – a mural on our new greenhouse, developed together with students from the Freja School (Frejaskolan in Gnesta).
