In 2023, Art Lab Gnesta traveled to the mouths of monsters, to devour and be devoured. In dark times, we began an investigation of caring for the damaged, ugly and difficult.
At home in the swamp castle in Sörmland, the risograph has run hot in the hands of visiting artists, new artworks have been woven in the house’s residency studios and our newly opened art workshop has been overwhelmed by all of Gnesta’s art-loving children. There is still so much we want to share and lots of art waiting to be created, right here.
We want to thank all the artists, visitors, participants, partners and friends for 2023. We look forward to tackling 2024 together with you all!
