Prepare for peace, in the dark times

On December 17th at 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Art Lab Gnesta invites you to a lecture and conversation with Kerstin Bergeå from The Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society (Svenska Freds- och Skiljedomsföreningen). It will be a moment where we reflect on what it is like to be young in times of armament. Together we will practice peace thinking and explore the construction of a new peace movement.

Art Lab Gnesta has, in recent years, worked with young people in the Art Workshop and has captured an interest among the participants regarding issues of peace in today’s increasingly militarized world. We have listened to them and therefore invited Svenska freds, a non-partisan and religiously independent non-profit association for people who are convinced that conflicts can be resolved without violence and that war can be prevented.

We ask ourselves the question: How do we think and create peace in the midst of times of war and armament?

Open and public conversations are an incredibly important part of our democratic society, bring your children and parents and come and talk with Kerstin and us at Art Lab Gnesta about this burning issue!

We offer punk-mulled wine and gingerbread.
